Ken and I were really excited yesterday when we realized that we received our very first donation for Mid-Life Cruising! Our sailboat cruising budget is really small at this time and we're currently scraping by with the sailboat repairs on Nirvana while she's "on the hard". We've already gone over our estimated costs, but we need to make all necessary repairs on the sailboat bottom while it is out of the water.
We are so thankful to James Pravel of Alexandria, Virginia for his donation. Every cent helps, and adds up. (We know that from our bills)! James also owns a sailboat and will become a liveaboard within the next month.
Thanks again, James! We will have a toast to you when we're finally in the Bahamas. Hopefully we'll see you there someday!

Yes, we were really excited that there are still generous, kind people out there. We hoped the same thing, that some rich man (or woman) would find it in their heart to help us out a little. We'll be responsible with it - we promise!
