Save Ronald McDonald!

In case you haven't heard, Ronald McDonald is the victim of Corporate Accountability International.  Evidently, they feel that Ronald is the reason for all of the overweight children in America.  They claim that a poll shows over 60%  feel Ronald is responsible for this dilemma and want Ronald removed!

What about the parents of these children?  Yes, children are easily influenced by what they see on tv, but I don't think they're pulling out the money and paying for those fries, shakes and hamburgers!  Parents need to learn to say "NO", and not blame the innocent Ronald.  Also, when is the last time you've seen Ronald on tv promoting anything?  I haven't.  Perhaps these children wouldn't even know who Ronald was if they weren't already going into these fast food chains.  These people need to get a life, and stop blaming others.  What's next?  No more M&M commercials - after all those little guys are so cute and it's their fault I'm addicted.  Easter bunny - watch out this Sunday!

Anyway, just thought I'd share.  I thought this was crazy, and amusing.  Also, I felt the need to stand up for a fellow redhead.  You know we're becoming extinct! (So I hear).  Hasta luego ... until then.  Mid-life Cruising!
